YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED

HOW TALL IS Sofia?

+

Sofia stands at 158 cm. Compact but powerful, her strength lies not just in her build, but in her mindset.

WHEN DID Sofia START STREETLIFTING?

+

I started Streetlifting in 2023, after dislocating my elbow during a weightlifting competition. At first, I trained just to recover and stay active. But day by day, I fell in love with the sport the challenge, the control, the power behind every movement. What began as rehab quickly became my passion. That passion is what pushed me to step on the platform and chase something bigger.

WHICH MPDS movement COULD Sofia NEVER GIVE UP?

+

Squat 100%. It’s my strongest movement and the one that represents pure power to me. It’s not just about numbers it’s about the mindset. Every rep reminds me that growth comes from going deep, standing back up, and doing it again, stronger

What is your greatest achievement in streetlifting?

+

Standing on the podium at the European Championship and taking home a world record. I didn’t go there expecting anything I just wanted to give it my all. That day showed me how far I’d come from injury, and proved that with belief and work, you can go further than you ever thought possible.

WHAT'S sofia's BIGGEST PR?

+

A 170kg squat in training just one week before I injured my leg and had to miss the World Championship. That lift means a lot to me. Not just because of the weight, but because it reflects my journey, my consistency, and the strength I’ve built both mentally and physically.

What advice do you give to upcoming streetlifters?

+

Don’t compare your path to anyone else’s. Focus on your own progress, train smart, and learn to love the process, even on the tough days. Strength takes time. Be consistent, take care of your body, and trust the journey. That’s how you grow, not just as an athlete, but as a person.

WHAT MOTIVATES Sofia?

+

What drives me is the curiosity to see how far I can go. Every training, every challenge, every small win adds up. I’m not just chasing numbers I’m building something bigger. Streetlifting gave me structure, purpose, and the fire to keep evolving.

when DID SOFIA JOIN TEAM MPDS?

+

I joined Team MPDS from the beginning haha, before the records, before anything big. I connected with the brand because it felt real. Being part of a team that shares the same passion and values pushes me every day. I’ve never felt like just an athlete here I’m part of a community that lifts each other up.

"Strength isn’t loud. It’s consistent."

where it all started.

Sofia's entry into streetlifting wasn’t planned it was born out of recovery. After dislocating her elbow in 2023, she found streetlifting as a way to stay active during rehab. But what started as temporary became a permanent passion. Within a year, she was standing on the podium at the European Championships, bringing home a world record in squat. With a 170KG training squat under her belt, Sofia’s growth has been fast, focused, and fierce. Her journey is marked not just by numbers, but by a deep mental transformation from injury to international contender.

More Than Numbers. Pure Obsession.

Sofia approaches training like a craft. Every squat is an act of control, patience, and pure willpower. For her, the barbell is more than weight, it’s a reflection of everything she’s built. She doesn’t chase hype. She chases mastery. Whether it’s rebuilding post-injury or pushing through plateaus, Sofia is proof that strength comes from showing up, again and again, no matter what.

Gear That Matches Sofia's Standard.

Sofia trains in gear she can trust gear that stands strong when the pressure is highest. Her go to pieces? The MPDS Knee Sleeves 2.0, which she uses during heavy squat sessions and comp prep. The MPDS Lever Belt provides unmatched stability through every descent and ascent. And the MPDS Croptop keeps her locked in and distraction-free when it’s time to move serious weight. Just like Sofia no flair, just performance.
